APW - Elgin, Grade 4, 15J, 16S, heavy 14K multicolor gold box hinge HC recase with rear having attractive green and rose gold star with inset diamond at center that weight approximately 0.25 ct, initialed rose gold shield to front, gold cuvette, fancy white and light pink enamel SS dial with gold foil decorations and minute makers, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#808954. Gross weight of assembled watch 82.6 dwt (128.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine cosmetic mvt condition overall, cloudy plates with scattered micro-fine scratches, minor oxide to steelwork; virtually flawless dial with only a short fine surface scratch between 10 and 11; fine hands; case shows light wear, mild dent to band at 5, few dings to front shield, reduced engraving detail with losses to much of the fine circular detail around central elements of front and rear, rear diamond with a notable chip at its lower-left; bow pivots semi-freely and is slightly thinned at top, replacement crown shows very little wear and is seated a bit high on pendant; clean plastic crystal.
